love this idea, my 2 year old is still at the very beginning of leraning colours (he knows the words but struggles to match them to the right colours) so I am always looking out for new ideas. , Robert Reich has a lot to say about this trend and the damage it is canisug, and why there is no future in it for anyone including for the wealthy who are promoting it and have come to believe they deserve it.The movie Inside Job is another great look at some of these problems; and in particular, at how little has been done, even after the tremendous concerns that the financial crisis apparently engendered among our political leaders.I totally agree with you Craig that the public HAS to talk about this problem. Trying to accomplish anything else in the realm of public policy may be futile until, or unless, we first deal with this trend that is becoming (maybe already has become?) so entrenched and self-perpetuating that we will not be able to halt or reverse it, short of a truly major financial and social implosion.

Strong little swrimems!!Now they not only remove a section of the vas but cauterize or clamp the ends. Hey it is never an exact science and the human body has an amazing will to heal itself and procreate so you mess with that and you have the potential for trouble.I think that they are getting better at this (adding the burning of the vas or the clips) as they saw from the earlier surgeries that there were some issues there.It isn’t given a 100% effective rating for a reason, little known fact, did you know the Mirena IUD is actually now rated equal to the protection of a tubal litigation.

I prefer the 1st pesorn (er, bear) voice for this film. Much like the French version of March of the Penguins, I think it’s easier for people to relate to the struggles and lives of the animals, and thus have more empathy and compassion for their plight (and therefore want to take action of some kind) than if it’s simply a standard nature doc with a voice of god narrator (no disrespect to Morgan Freeman, of course). I do think it’s a bit awkward in the blog for the bear to be talking about writing. As easy as I find it to suspend my disbelief that the voice of the bear is narrating, there’s something about picturing a bear sitting down at a computer and typing that just doesn’t work for me I’d also avoid wording like, Mani told me , as that takes me out of the film, doubting that Mani communicated that specific thought to his mom. Maybe just, Mani feels/thinks that Just my two cents as a doc filmmaker used to critiques, but overall I’m way impressed with the footage and stoked to see it! Good call with the survey deal, too. Curious to see the results.
